"No gators here, anymore"

Films: Snakehead Swamp (2014)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Swamp/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average giant catfish.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: And you thought the snakehead craze was over, didn't you?! Well, it actually is, but that's no reason to make another one about these invasive little monsters. Though as usual, they're not all that little anymore.

History: In the swamps of Louisiana, a deadly mutation has taken place. Some pollution and toxic matter has turned the local population of snakehead trout into monstrous man-eating killers. It doesn't take long for everyone to realize just how much of a threat this is, especially when the fish start multiplying and show no signs of slowing down.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The snakehead terror is only quelled when more than half the damn swamp is set on fire, killing most of them. The biggest one lasts much longer, but it is then shot with a flare gun and incinerated. However, it is later shown that one survived, and has learned to walk upright...

Powers/Abilities: Can stay outside the water for extended periods of time. Their scales are also impervious to most weaponry.

Weakness: Fire.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-These poor snakehead have easily gotten the shortest end of the stick when you compare them to all the little devil fish that came before them in the last decade. The CGI is just awful, with them looking at no point like they belong in the same area as the humans. They are only saved from being a 2 by their hideous designs and alarming durability.

Trivia: -The snakeheads here more closely resemble toothy versions of Wels catfish, which are basically catfish bigger than large dogs that have been occasionally accused of eating or at the very least killing people, though the goonch has been a more prime target of fear for a while now. Thing is, both fish are extremely aggressive at times, so death isn't out of the question.

-A bootleg title for this film was "Killer Swamp". Yes, it got a bootleg.
